Svarttjern: Towards the ultimate
22/11/11 || Smalley
Svarttjern is blast-heavy, blackened death metal from Norway (with occasional hints of other styles), have been together for eight years and two full lengths now, and unlike other underground metal bands who never seem to get it right, “Towards the ultimate” definitely shows us a band who knows what they’re doin’. It has good energy and catchiness, energetic playing all-around, good, non-generic harsh vocals, heavy production, and enough variation to keep things interesting. It isn’t quite incredible, but enjoyable…? Heck yeah!!!
8/10: Check ‘em out!
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
